WHRO is pleased to issues a Request for Proposals (RFP) from organizations for a distinctive arts production to be recorded and broadcast to the Hampton Roads community by WHRO.

Through the generosity of a donor, WHRO has received limited funds to issue an annual RFP for the creation of a broadcast special celebrating an arts presentation that would be relevant, and through the broadcast be more accessible, to the community.  We are inviting interested arts organizations or individuals to consider projects they plan for implementation between July 1, 2017 and May 30, 2018.

  • Be responsible for all financial costs for the implementation of the project (planning, location, resources, staffing, artists, performance, marketing, etc…)

  • Allow filming of the project development and “behind the scenes.”
